Sullivan & LeShane Public Relations, Inc. Honored with Four 2022 PRSA Greater Connecticut Chapter Mercury Awards
The work of Sullivan & LeShane Public Relations, Inc. (SLPR) was in the spotlight this week, as the team garnered four Mercury Awards at the Greater Connecticut Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) 2022 Mercury Awards Ceremony hosted by Albertus Magnus College on December 13, 2022.
The Mercury Awards celebrate the best in public relations in Connecticut and represent the highest honors in the public relations industry. SLPR, which has collected 27 Mercury Awards over the last six years, was recognized with the following 2022 honors:
• Gold in Executive Communications for the firm’s work with Day Pitney LLP’s white-collar crime partner Sarah Krissoff
• Gold in Public Service for the firm’s work with the Credit Union League of Connecticut’s “Wise Winnings” program
• Silver in Community Relations for the firm’s work with Johnson Brunetti and their recognition efforts for veterans
• Silver in Public Affairs for the firm’s work with the Insurance Association of Connecticut and their legislative efforts on Connecticut’s Catalytic Converter Bill.
In addition to the aforementioned categories, Sullivan & LeShane has been previously recognized with Mercury Awards for Excellence in Media Relations, Special Events and Observances, Reputation Management and Collateral Material Development. In 2017, the firm’s Founder and CEO—Paddi LeShane—was named Connecticut’s PR Practitioner of the Year.
Sullivan & LeShane congratulates this year’s other honorees—especially Practitioner of the Year Anita Ford Saunders and Beacon Award honoree and former Special Olympics Connecticut president Beau Doherty—and thanks the PRSA Greater Connecticut Chapter for their work in promoting and supporting our industry. Our biggest thanks, however, is always saved for our clients, who year after year allow us to help them tell their stories, deliver meaningful results and accomplish their goals.
